Due to a plot hole that appears during the Final Confrontation, a new area has finally been added: the Training Room.

Just before Fygoon makes his way to the Iron Ghetto, he is stopped by his mentor, Minister Shen. An old friend of Fygoon's late father, this Dragon from the Northern Continent makes it his duty to ensure that the Basileus remains in peak physical condition. Although Fygoon respects the elder Dragon, he isn't too fond of training with him, as the Minister is the only foe Fygoon is, as of yet, unable to defeat.

New things added with the Training Room:

• Minister Shen, a character that has always existed on Frydar Island, finally appears in a new tutorial area; he helps guide new players on how to play The Frydarian Tale with a gentle prod of his walking stick
• When players are acquainted enough, they can challenge Shen in a duel at the end of the tutorial to try and obtain the legendary Xzen-Akaias; be warned, the Minister will show no mercy
• The manual has been updated to detail new information on the Minister and includes a pretty picture
• The main menu has been updated to include the Training Hall
