Without any further delay, the last part of The Frydarian Tale is now complete: the Final Confrontation.

Once Joseph Fygoon found his friends Alois Ratatosky and Balthazar Lux in the Sea of Green, he told them of his amazing fight between the three Viceroys and how he humiliated all three of them. The three all celebrate the victory and, since the day was done, each went their separate ways back home. Meanwhile, as the three defeated Viceroys lament their stunning failure, a new face appears: the Warlord. With the promise of securing a new future free from the oppression of the Dragons, especially Basileus Fygoon, the Warlord gains the trust of the three Viceroys and, before long, a full-scale attack is launched on Fortress Fygoon.

Two Sapphire Dragoons, the deserters from Port Wyvern that the Warlord attacked previously, finally meet with Fygoon as he walks home; before Fygoon has a chance to execute them for leaving their posts, they tell him their rationale: they left in haste to warn the Basileus of an impending assault on the Fortress by the terrible lizard and his army of Botnet soldiers. Fygoon, understandably shocked by the news, pardons the two Sapphire Dragoons and orders the two to rest and prepare for battle in the morning, unaware that the attack is happening at this very moment.

Fygoon returns home to find the Fortress in disarray, as corpses of Dragon, Bulldog, Trollglodyte, and Golem lay all over; he also finds the bodies of strange, frog-like creatures as well. Entering Fortress Fygoon, the young Dragon finds his mentor, Minister Shen, dying of grievous wounds. The wizened Minister warns the Basileus of the creature that sits in the throne room he tried to protect: a towering beast with no remorse nor mercy, who's willing to fight sordidly to attain victory.

Whoever that beast is, he will pay for what he did.

New things added with the Final Confrontation:

• The Warlord, the final enemy faced in the game, has been added: armed with a deadly laser projector, a meson missile launcher capable of breaking through the Energy Buckler, two battle-hardened fists, and a near-infinite supply of Botnet soldiers, he is the most challenging adversary yet
• Botnet soldiers have been added as well: these zealous and deadly creatures will stop at nothing until Fygoon is destroyed, even rushing him when set on fire and primed to explode
• Minister Shen returns to give Fygoon the most powerful weapon in the game: the Xzen-Akaias, the Fygoon Clan's heirloom
• A new system has been added to seamlessly change the music based on the current situation between Fygoon and the Warlord
• A script has been added to make the entrance to the Final Confrontation more cinematic

Some things were updated as well:

• The boss intro script has been made more robust, solving some bugs that could cause Fygoon to freeze
• A bug concerning the Energy Buckler has been fixed, allowing Fygoon to switch out of Combat Mode without fear of messing up the controls
• The main menu has been updated to reflect the addition of the Final Confrontation
• The manual has been updated to add some more information on the characters found; unfortunately, the Fygoon picture in the Table of Contents had to be removed due to how big it has become
